It is a mixture of several inorganic products. Therefore it is incombustible and does not emit smoke in case maximum temperature has been exceeded. The product can be used to glue insulation materials on steel ( for example vermiculite or blankets) or to glue insulation materials to each other. Also to fill up furnace doors with insulation. As the pH-value is high it does not corrode steel. When it is still wet a slight corrosion of aluminium can be formed.
