KS and UNIFRAX present new 1600 paper

KS and Unifrax are pleased to announce the launch of 1600 paper. The addition of this product to our developing range of papers and felts will allow us to service an increased number of markets and high temperature applications.
This product has been developed in response to the needs of our clients within the ceramic, steel and niche high temperature industries. We have met their request for a product which exhibits superior characteristics and provides outstanding performance at high temperature. 1600 Paper is formed from high alumina polycrystalline fibres and demonstrates good thermal stability and thermal shock resistance; further properties include negligible shot content and good handling strength. Applications include furnace linings in the Ferrous, Ceramic and Chemical Industries and for a wide range of specialised high temperature applications up to 1600oC.
